THE CAUSES OF THE UPCOMING CATASTROPHE OF THE 21ST CENTURY

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at 7:20 pm

The world financial system is on the brink of collapse because of the massive speculative spending, in earnest accelerating post 1999 and mimicking the speculation of the 1920’s. The current speculative phase, however, is of a far greater scale.

One must be clearly aware that the speculative crash of 1929 heralded the great depression, which didn’t truly end until well after the Second World War.

IS THE WORLD RUSHING HEADLONG TOWARDS THE FIRST GREAT WAR OF THE 21ST CENTURY?

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Friday, December 23rd, 2011 at 7:11 pm

As the ongoing threat exists for Israel to instigate a “first strike” against Iran, there is a clear and present possibility for Turkey and Iran to come to blows over Syria. Although on Wed 14th December Turkey’s foreign Minister said Turkey had no plans to occupy Syria on Thurs 15th December top Turkish military council said it was reviewing the military’s preparedness for war

What is our policy in Afghanistan?

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at 10:38 pm

How appropriate it is Armistice Day – the 11th of November – the day that signifies the end of the war to war of all wars –

A day we must keep as a solemn reminder never to allow such to happen again.  That statement seems as hollow today as one ponders the terms “kinetic action” or a “no fly zone”

GET READY OF A CHINESE MARKET DOWN TURN

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Friday, November 4th, 2011 at 2:24 pm

The Euro zone is in financial crises – of course, you were warned. You were also warned about the threat to the US financial system – this is now becoming clear to many, even the mainstream media organisations will soon open the floodgates of reports on insolvency of the US banking system. The Bank of America is reported to have trillions of dollars of debt, with financiers demanding another bailout! All this on the heels of Australia now being termed a “three speed economy”, with NSW plodding along at the lowest speed.

It will not stop there, it will affect the Asian markets and that in turn will affect the Australian Markets. The mining boom will bust, and we will know what our parents and grandparents experienced in the Great Depression.

When this depression hits in earnest we could have a thousand, or tens of thousands in the streets in “Occupy Sydney” or “Occupy Melbourne” demonstrations, but that may do little to solve the problem.

Australia needs a program. The program needs to provide the solution. It needs banking protection, not banking bailout. It needs massive infrastructure spending not austerity. It needs peaceful coexistence not war in our regions!

The AMSD, among others, has provided a program that would put Australia on the path to prosperity– the desire for change without knowing what to change can be a disaster, however no matter how noble ones intentions.

AFRICOM AND CHINA

Africom is the US African command. All commands have agendas and strategic objectives, naturally these strategic agendas would be expected to be in the interests of the nations those military represent. However, one must determine when military strategic agendas are being switched from the protection national interests to the support of international financial agendas.

No doubt, there appears a pressure through the auspices of Africom to exclude the interests of China from Africa. As you may know, China has over the last 10 years purchased extensive land in Africa.

One must question the contribution that AFRICOM had into the Libyan campaign and the killing of Gadaffi

The US possess a massive Military structure, and the US supports that military machine with perhaps about 4.5% of the US GDP spending. However, where does the line stop in identifying national military interest and international financial interests; that all depends on who is drawing the line. One must recognise the various statements by US Representative for example

Hillary Clinton (US Secretary of State)”…we came, we saw, he died…” or perhaps the statements made by Senator John McCain

“I think dictators all over the world, including Bashar al-Assad, maybe even Mr. Putin, maybe some Chinese, maybe all of them, may be a little bit more nervous,” . Knowing that Australia is committed to the actions of the US, perhaps its time for all Australians to be concerned about the people who that draw that line!

CONFUSION WILL REIGN IF THE SILENT MAJORITY SLEEPS

How many people turn out to watch a football grand final? 50,000 perhaps 60,000? Unfortunately, the commitment to an ideal, the desire to be motivated by principle, the group striving for improvement has been co-opted by the corporate image of sport.

If the same number of people took an active part to peacefully protesting an immoral carbon tax and immoral war. Or the end to the free lunch for free trade and globalisation. Alternatively, make politicians legally responsible for undelivered campaign promises then perhaps Australian politicians would know their jobs were on the line and up their game; we would see a different Australia.

THE BRAINWASHING OF A SOCIETY – SOCIAL ENGINEERING

What those on the periphery had been saying for the last 10 years (some voices in the wilderness even longer) have proved to be correct! Check the record for yourself; those that warned, those that demanded and even pleaded for changing the immoral direction that our “world order” was progressing down were ridiculed. The system and their interest’s media will not admit it; rather they try to subtly co-opt, spin and manipulate a true message to suit their ends.

Now they will admit the word “depression”, the very media that would be at ends to ridicule those advocating it previously.

However, the media can be a very fickle animal, its basis tends towards fiction and it peddles the truth for its own profit or the profit those whom it represents.

You need to be aware of what is unfolding; you need to know and become politically active in a constructive peaceful manner. How I find out what to do, you may ask. You find out by seeking to understand the truth of the matter and you question. Ignorance is terminal!

THE DEATH OF GADAFFI

What was the relationship of deceased leader of Libya to the West?

What was the Blair, Libyan, British Petroleum connection?; What about the embezzlement of over a billion dollars from the Libyan sovereign fund? What about the make up of the Libyan transitional government? - ask the questions!

Wake up and smell the coffee – the same things that happens at the small end of town happens internationally at the most highest levels. Never forget that power corrupts!

The murdering of Gadaffi was a vile thing, no matter what your feelings for the man, the system of justice must apply to all. Two wrongs do not make right, no matter how you wish to spin it.

SMALL GOVERNMENT

Governments around the world are the same it seems; self seeking. It is essential that anything our government is involved in is transparent and open to scrutiny – we need small but accountable government – where Government is the servant of the people not a special breed accountable only to themselves.

A nation is known by the quality of its laws; one only has to look at the plethora of laws our politicians enact, the confusion that these laws make and the solutions that they don’t offer! Whole layers of bureaucracy are created but do little, or are counter productive.

The answer is very simple- enlightened government comes from enlightened people

SHOULD AUSTRALIA BE CONCERNED OVER THE OCCUPY WALL STREET DEMONSTRATIONS

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Thursday, October 20th, 2011 at 6:16 pm

Demonstrations have been occurring in the United States over the last few weeks, including the “Occupy Wall Street” and “Occupy the Federal Reserve” demonstrations; so why be concerned with what happening in the US?  We must be concerned, because what happens in the US will have a reverberation around the globe and affect our Australian economy and finances in the most fundamental ways.  Sadly, however, without considerably changing the fundamentals of the US financial and economic system, we will see the second wave of the great depression of the 21st Century.

Those demonstrations in the United States appear because by the total disillusionment of the middle class within that nation. The “hope and change” that was promised to the US population was bound to turned to ashes.  However, simply understanding the domestic and foreign policy of the United States and its intimate linkage to international finance, globalization and international corporatism, such disillusionment was a foregone conclusion.

THE CURRENT UNRAVELLING OF THE EURO-ZONE

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at 10:46 pm

Essentially, we have arrived at the unravelling of the Euro-zone. This unravelling will see a total financial and economic dislocation of that region. With this financial collapse, letters of credit will not be created and international trade will not flow. National economies will slow down and additional unemployment will compound the already stricken economies. The poverty of the Euro-zone will not stop there (1) ; the United States will also succumb, then finally the Chinese-India- Asian regions;

Australia will not be immune.

NO CARBON TAX!

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at 10:28 pm

Parliament House, Canberra, experienced a well-deserved disruption to question time, as a political sideshow occurred on the floor!  It makes one proud to see there is at least one section of Australia that is prepared to stand and fight against the immoral and deceptive introduction of a carbon tax under the Gillard led Labour Government.

On Tuesday the 13th of September approximately 50 people made their position clear, during question time at the Federal Parliament in Canberra -  “No Carbon Tax” was exclaimed load and clear, after which the group was ushered by Parliament House security from the chambers;  as they were escorted out they chanted “Shame Julia Shame!”   Indeed, it is a shameful act for Ms Gillard to introduce a law into Parliament for which she has no mandate.  Indeed, it is a further shame that the majority of younger Australian’s are not playing such an active role in demonstrating their democratic responsibilities against such autocratic behaviour Read the rest of this entry »

THE COURTS AND THE ASYLUM SEEKERS

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at 6:10 pm

An Australian high court decision has ruled that the Malaysian detention solution can’t be utilized. The Green’s say that detention should only occur in Australia. The Liberals want to work with the current government to maintain some form of off-shore detention. Soon will have crises upon crises, however we sow what we reap; we supported the NATO and US policy (1) the destabilized our neighbours now we reap the boat people.  On ABC radio, as if by means of preparing Australia generally to accept the processing of asylum seekers on shore, one of our professors discusses the phobia that Australians have with asylum seekers and “radicalisation” as a process that Australian’s have had from an historic perspective.  It may be the case, however, I have stayed in many foreign nations, and although many of those nations are usually welcoming to foreigners, they still protect the rights of their local communities.

HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

Posted by Mark in Uncategorized on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at 6:02 pm

Of 2 million out of 28 million fled Iraq; some have arrived in Australia and were processed in our detention centers. What of Afghanistan? They too have fled their country and wait in our detention centers; and now the displaced of Libya and

Yemen will be on their way – for Australia this is the making of the stuff of the boat people of tomorrow. Why do we support the policies that destabilize and destroy nations; why do we support NATO and the US financial/military empire (1).   Why doesn’t our foreign minister denounce these policies!!!! (2)

This must stop!!! Australia must not support these NATO and US incursions; incursions that support a dying financial system- choking on the bad debt of its derivatives, using these incursions to asset strip the nations it “helps”, funds contractors for these nations to fill the financial coffers that bring loot back the financial/military empire, carrying out every dirty trick in the book to keep international financial skullduggery in play.

A TALE OF TWO STATES – THE NATION STATE AND THE OLIGARCH STATE

POLITICS 101
UNLIKE “ANTHROPOMORPHIC CLIMATE CHANGE” TO GENERATE PHONY CARBON CREDITS – THIS UNIT IS NOT TO BE TAUGHT WITHIN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

THERE ARE TWO SYSTEMS-
• A Nation State system - as typified by The United States post declaration of independence, and other the modern system of states, the developed from the treaty of Westphalia – characterized  by  new learning, discovery, affluence creativity and economic growth and development

and

• An Oligarchical system – as typified by, The Babylonian Empire, the Egyptian, The Roman Empire, The Venetian Financial Empire,  the East India/British Empire and  the United States/Financial Empire - characterized  by  monetarism, financial manipulation, war, economic stagnation, poverty
